We were winding up our 3 week African trip by staying a few nights in Cape Town. We were pleasantly surprised we were told that we were given an upgrade. the room was very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only issue we had was the AC had to be reset every day. We had to go to the desk every day forthe same complaint. That was the only annoying part of our stay. we had the breakfast buffet daily, which was amazing, even hub for squeeze juices made to order eggs. We also dined one night for dinner, which was Italian, and the food was not bad. The staff were simply amazing. They were all friendly and helpful. There were security guards outside and that made an even safer environment . It is not recommended to walk around Cape Town at night.
The hotel in the lobby was beautiful and I even loved the infused scent on each floor. It was so inviting. They also have happy hour from 4 to 6 PM every night in the lobby, there is a rooftop lounge, butwe did not have time to go there as a travel advisor. I am very picky and have high standards. I will say that this hotel is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying Cape Town.
