Toyoko Inn Busan Seomyeon

I traveled to Japan and Korea by myself, and on the second night after moving from Daegu to Busan, I stayed overnight at Dongyong INN Busan Seomun. Toyoko INN Busan Seobyeong is a business hotel operated by the Japanese hotel chain Toyoko Inn, located about a 7-8 minute walk from Exit 8 of Seobyeong Station on Busan Metro Lines 1 and 2. We arrived at Gimhae International Airport around 4pm on the day of our stay and took the airport limousine to the west face, so check-in was after 7pm. The check-in procedure was completed smoothly by simply presenting the Toyoko INN Club Card and signing it on the guest list, as the room reservation and payment were made in advance from a certain hotel reservation site. I really liked the kind and attentive reception of the front desk staff. This time we used a double room with a queen-size bed in a 16m2 room. I used the room for two by myself, so I could relax. Rooms are well-cleaned and clean. Equipment such as TV, safe, refrigerator and hair dryer are compacted around the desk. Through the window of the guest room, I could see a group of high-rise apartments lined with trees. Complimentary amenities include plastic bottled water in the guest room refrigerator and a wall-mounted dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body soap in the bathroom. Bathrobes, coffee, tea, combs, etc. are distributed at the front desk, but you must provide your own toothbrush and razor, which are prohibited from being provided for free for environmental reasons, or purchase them from a vending machine located in the lobby. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. The fast connection and stable connection made watching videos stress-free. There is no USB port in the room, but the A-shaped socket is installed so that you can connect Japanese household appliances as they are, making it useful for charging mobile phones and other devices. Seomyeon, where the hotel is located, is Busan's largest downtown area with many luxury brand shops and duty-free shops, fashion shops, various restaurants, and is also a transportation hub in the center of Busan, where two subway lines cross, making it a convenient area for shopping, dining and sightseeing. Buffet-style breakfast is also served free of charge at Toyoko INN Busan West Side, but I regret that I checked out without having breakfast to board the morning flight to Osaka. This time, I was happy that I was able to make a reservation for less than 10,000 yen, even though it was two weeks before my stay. Facilities and services are similar to those of Toyoko INN in Japan, and Japanese-speaking staff are stationed at the front desk, so even those who cannot speak Korean or are not used to traveling can stay with peace of mind.

Great location close to central subway, comfy bed, quiet, friendly staff, great breakfast!

The rooms were a good size and the bathroom clean. This is a good location for restaurants and bars. The metro station has 2 lines and the location is central to then travel to different parts of Busan. Breakfast is free and crowded! Take into account that there are more Asian options than Western and the coffee is not good. The pillows need improving too, but in general this is a solid choice at a good price.
