Haeundae Foret Hotel

I stayed at that hotel in January 2020. It was kinda cold in Korea at that time, and before I stayed at another hotel, where was kinda cold. So I moved to the Foret and I really liked it. It is cosy. It is located in a nice area. It has a free coffee and tea 24/7.

We've stayed in this hotel before but this time I was disappointed. On the first day after they cleaned the room one of my pricey makeup products disappeared.I complained few times. They didn't take any actions. Instead they said I lost it. It was in the room when I left it. They should treat customers better. I was nice about it. Customer service is zero. Other things were okay.

I chose this hotel mainly for its location close to Haeundae beach, which is only one block away, but there is almost no beach view between other tall buildings. My taxi driver had difficulty finding it, as it’s tucked away in a back street; if you can’t find it using GPS, just look up from the beach and you’ll see it. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the beach is only 150m away with a very good information centre and the hop-on tourist bus stop, and bus 1003 to Busan station. The Haeundae metro station is about 300m away under the Citadines building. My room (no. 801) was very clean and quiet ( except for noise from a weekend music concert somewhere nearby) and had a comfortable bed, good lighting, a bar fridge with two bottles of water per day, a coffee maker with poor quality tea bags,a safe, and a flat screen TV with Korean channels only. Next time I would bring my own tea bags and coffee. The staff were helpful enough, and near the lobby there was a small lounge area with an English language newspaper, a business centre, breakfast room (15,000 won each) and a free coffee machine
