Daemyung Resort Danyang

Sono Moon Danyang is in a great location for exploring the main sights in Danyang. The rooms are clean—old, but nicely renovated—and most offer a beautiful river view, especially from the 3rd floor and above. Only a handful of rooms lack the river outlook. There’s a convenience store on-site, and the property has plenty of facilities such as a sauna, waterpark, arcade, and karaoke. However, these amenities are quite overpriced. They also sell discounted tickets to several major Danyang attractions, which is convenient. Parking can be limited, and we skipped the breakfast due to the high price and long lines. Despite the hotel being at full capacity, elevator wait times were short, and the staff were efficient throughout our stay. Weekend rates feel a bit high given how much is charged as extras, but weekday rates offer good value. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would return again.

Went there with family and 2 kids. The hotel surrounded by mountains and has a nice view on the river. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants around the hotels if you are not fan of hotel food. The breakfast was pretty good. We enjoyed pastries alot. I think they have best apple pecan pie in Korea 😊 There are many things to do, see and go. We went to walk along the river and found bunch of great cafes and restaurants. You can also take a flight on paroplan, we haven’t risked, but it looked fun. The most exciting thing for kids was indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Basically one entire day we just spend there. They also have pool for little kids with some toys, which is shallow, so they can safely play. Will go there time to time to have a fun family time again. The only problem we have faced, that there are so many people in the pool. So if you don’t like big crowds, it can be challenging.

I don't understand why this Hotel is good. Personal almost cannot speak English. Every basic thing requires additional fees. Towels are small, only one per person. The price is inadequate for the rooms. The bathroom stunned me (see photo below)
