Lake Hills Songnisan Hotel

This is a nice, clean hotel very close to the Beopjusa Temple if you are on a trip to see Temples. The hotel has 2 wings, make sure you're going to the correct wing after you check in. Rooms in the new wing overlook the mountains, a beautiful view to wake up to.

we were fine at the Lake Hills Hotel, but it isn't the Ritz, more like a country, more informal, hotel. it's location is great -- just a kilometer walk to Songnisan National Park. the layout of the interior of the hotel is a bit odd -- we got lost looking for our room (202), but were happy with the room when we found it. the breakfast was sufficient, but not fine cuisine. on the other hand, given the location, and lack of any truly *negative* issues with the hotel, were we to visit that beautiful area again, we'd happily stay there.

In the 60's this hotel must have been very luxurious and stylish. Nowadays it is Just old however more important it is also clean. And the location near the park entrance is convenient. There was no WiFi at the room.
