Bellus Rose Pension Hotel

This neat little pension is made great by hosts Mr & Mrs Park. Their customer service, help and support is absolutely superb. They made sure we had the best of times whilst we were in Gyeongju. If you only like western style characterless hotels, this isn’t for you as it’s more like stopping in a family home but with your own private facilities. We found it a really relaxing place to be, a nice slower pace of life than the big city hotels. There’s a good choice of restaurants and a couple of convenience stores down the road near the bus top, which are about a 10/15 minute walk away. Although if you don’t fancy the walk, Mr & Mrs Park will drop you off or pick you up. They also have a cute little garden and a nice little pool. Bus 700, 10 & 11 drop you off at the bus stop by the restaurants. But Mrs Park will help you to understand all of that in readiness for your site seeing. All in all a lovely stay.

We had two rooms at Bellus Rose, one for my wife and I, the other for my two older daughters. We were all extremely comfortable and happy there. Certainly what sets this place apart from many are the hosts Mrs Park and Mr Kung. We were only there for two nights, yet the service, care and attention from them was outstanding. Some examples - pick up from the bus station, welcome drink on arrival with map and detailed explanation of Gyeongju and the local area, lifts to Bulguksa Temple and local restaurant, watermelon served by the pool, a private transfer arranged for our next leg to Naksan Beach, amazing service from two lovely people. Gyeongju is also a fantastic place to visit in South Korea, we all highly recommend staying at Bellus Rose.

It would be really hard not to like this cute little pension. The owners, Mr. & Mrs. Park are delightful - really friendly and always willing to help - e.g. picking us up from the bus terminal, riding us to the Bulkuk temple, bus stops and convenience store. The rooms are very comfortable. Each unit has either a little patio area or a balcony with a large seating. The units have a small kitchen area with a fridge and many facility things. Moreover, there is a little pool for everybody. In addition, Mrs. Park can comunicate in english. So, if you have any problem you can ask for advices from her.
