Daekuk Isleinn Hotel

The hotel itself was nice. It was initially a little difficult to find at first, but once we got there, it wasn't too bad. 제주도 is crowded in terms of navigation, and this hotel is off of one of the main roads, making it a little difficult to find among the hustle-bustle of the city. However, as it IS on one of the side streets, that's what makes it nice in that at least it's a little quieter. The room was fine, if a little small. My wife and I brought food back to the room, but we had to eat carefully on the bed (with lots of paper and other items we could throw away so that we wouldn't spill onto the bed). The bed was a little stiff, but this is Korea and sleeping on a bed is sometimes a luxury in itself. I actually appreciated that they had their own parking lot, given that parking spaces in themselves are a rare commodity in Korea. The hotel itself was quiet, the elevator was noticeably dated, but the service and hotel staff was patient and very accommodating, which warrants the extra star beyond average. All-in-all, this was a nice stay at a nice hotel. I can't say it was a 5-star because it wasn't exactly a luxury hotel, but it was rather quaint and pretty.

구매가격은 저렴핵지만 그것뿐.. 별로 다시 가고싶지 않은 아주 불편했던 숙소역다. 오랜만에 비싼돈들여 제주도 여행 갔다가 이런것 때문에 쓴맛이 생기면 않될것이다. Uncomfortable stay that I would not recommend to anybody, especially when it's not free. It gets no star from me, I'll save that for other hotels that truly deserves it.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, but the hotel itself is nothing special. The rooms are small, no wifi (unusual in Korea), no toiletries available, staff unable to recommend somewhere to eat in Korean or English, breakfast unimpressive. That said, the location of the hotel is fantastic and it is pretty reasonably priced.
