This is in remote place away from jeju city and not having conventional hotel facilities,.It has only good ,spaceous rooms with good ocean view.,but not near to shopping area or restaurants or bus stops taking to city. Not recommend as it is at silent remote place. The hotel is like a hostel run by husband and wife without any service staff,My travel agent booked this for my conf stay which was held in 5 star kal hotel which was just opp to this hotel and at 3 minutes walk.,otherwise not recommendable for tourist purpose.

1) East of seogwipo is a number of pensions in between orchards. No eat-streets, no shopping. So dont stay here unless you have a car, and prefer a dead neighbourhood. 2). There is no information in your room, and the owner didnt offer anything either. No instructions, maps, guides, nothing. Until i read the previous review, i had no idea that breakfast was an option. 3) there is a convenience store abt 10 minutes walk east, but it is very poorly stocked. 4). There is a reasonable restaurant just before the convenience store. The restaurant mains start at $10. We ate there twice. It has free wifi (bar area only). The restaurant is called "limes and oranges" 5) the hotel has no internet. None. Ordinary

Honestly, in terms of rating, we are between an average and a very good... so, after reading, please decide on your own! Since I am the first reviewer for this hotel, I will really try to give an unbiased review: Pro's: - Nice location: you can see the ocean from every room (from some it is 100%, from others it is only 40%). - Great staff, but truth be told, all Koreans are awesome! - Nicely kept place, it is more like 2 little condo buildings, 2 floors each, with little gardens around (gardens meaning nicely kept grass with wooden tables & chairs, wooden swings for kids, etc). - It is about a 5 minute drive into what I assume was downtown Seogwipo, where you can buy groceries or go for a meal. Con's: - Koreans usually sleep on the floor, so the bed could be a little uncomfortable for Westerners... but if you are coming to Korea, you will have to deal with this, because I think everywhere except maybe 5* hotels will be this way. - As it is in all Korean hotels, there is one drainage for the shower which is usually outside of the "shower"... so, bring flip flops... reason for this is how Koreans clean their bathrooms, which is by "showering" the whole bathroom. - No cleaning service, only change of towels every day. - Towels are tiny as they are all over Korea! - It is clean in terms of Korean standards, which I consider to be medium-high. - Truthfully, niceness or cleanliness is not at the top of the pro's, but also not at the bottom... As I experienced all over Korea, it seems like Koreans would much rather patch up places than maintain them, so expect 'double' ceilings everywhere (don't really want to know what is underneath the 2nd one...), a lot of wall paper, and some mold here and there... Overall, if you are coming to Jeju to wander around, I HIGHLY recommend this place. It is not the cheapest, but it is a market price (Jeju is in general overpriced). You can have breakfast and/ or dinner if you would like at your apartment. Nonetheless, if you are coming for "romance", forget it! Pay the price and stay in a 5* hotel as there are no romantic options available except 5 stars on the island!
