First time go to south korea, i choose this guesthouse to stay (5days 4nights) when i go to south korea because near from MRT station and near from dongdaemun street market and dongdaemun design plaza. Good service, clean room, and comfort for sleep however i little disapointed because the room size not same with the picture that i see when i want booking the room.

I understand that a hostel usually doesn't have an elevator but everyday I have to take the stairs to the 5th floor. I was surprised when I arrived in the hotel and the reception is on the 3rd floor and the stairs are so shabby. There's only one staff in the reception. The staff and the manager are very friendly and if I have questions or if I seek assistance, they are very informative. The manager took me to my room and it was totally a very small room. The toilet is there as well as the bed. What I like about the room is that it has TV and refrigerator. Also WIFI is widely available within the hostel and it is really fast.
However, since winter is fast approaching, it's really cold and to add to my surprise, the room is very cold, no heater at all. When I have to go to the reception in the evening, no one is there and you have to call the manager via phone. I stayed for 6 nights and I have to say that I become sick when I went back from Korea. The blanket was very thick which is good but it's too short so I have to bend while sleeping and I'm 5'9 Ft. I closed the window as instructed but still it is cold. It's very hard to use the water from the sink as hot water doesn't work except if you will use the shower.
It says on my hotel voucher that breakfast was included but there was none. Good thing that 7Eleven was just down stairs. It's a total budget hostel. What I like is the friendliness of the staff and it's situated next to the Subway Station (Exit 4 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Station). I would go back to this hotel if it's not winter. But for the price I paid, I should have checked-in to a better hostel.
I choose this because it's the best place near the shopping area and the subway. But never that I received comfort.

Found this Hotel through Booking.com and since it was highly rated and less than $20, I decided to book. I wasn't disappointed. Bus direct from Incheon practically to the doorstep of the Hotel. Easy to find, just in the alley to the left of the 7 11. Owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I was lucky that I was a single getting a room for three, so the room was quite large with a separate bathroom area and small entry in Addition to the bedroom. Very quiet, hardly any street noise at all. Someone commented about a sewage-like smell but I never noticed anything like that. Bed was comfortable, slept very well. Location is literally right next to the Metro Station in a central district of Seoul. I walked to practically everywhere in the Center of the City taking anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. There is a great landscaped walk along a small river right through the Center of Seoul and this is only 10 minutes from the Hotel. Otherwise the Metro is extremely efficient and will get you anywhere you Need to be. Strong Wifi connection with router right in the room. Very clean. Would highly recommend.
