Hotel Argo

Hotel was under renovation. Unobtrusive, almost hidden entrance. Very tiny lobby. Two elevators. Only four or five rooms on each floor. Rooms are large. Bathroom had jacuzzi tubs and rain showers, as well as heated toilet seats. Bathroom was not clean when I arrived, but was cleaned each day of my stay. Very large flat screen tv. Desk top computers in rooms, but mine was filled with malware. TV was also unusable since it only worked through the computer. There were no English translations of any of the electronics (lighting system, TV, toilet seat, computer). Stairwell was filled with building materials from the renovation work. Definite no-no for fire escape. I was on the upper floors. Very comfortable bed.

Receptionist speaks english well enough. Friendly. The room is big, clean, and well maintained. Most little things customer needs are provided in the room. Location is very convenient, shops and restaurant within minutes walking distance. I am on a business trip, so easy to get a taxi to my business meeting place. The price is very reasonable, i think i have got more than what i paid for.

I can honestly say that this has been one of THE most pleasant hotels I've ever stayed in. The hotel is situated pretty close to a metro station. Although it's situated a bit outside Seoul, the location suited me since I was in town for a conference in that region. From Gimpo airport you can take the metro all the way (~70 min). I saw a bus stop for express buses from Incheon in the area too, but don't know any more about that. Now to the important stuff: English level: Good enough WiFi: free, fast, reliable connection Mini-bar: FREE(!) but non-alcoholic. They provided me with 2 bottles of water, 1 small coke, 1 powerade and 1 minute maid per day. Room size: HUGE Cleanliness: Very good Breakfast: None, but there are tons of 24hr open stores all over the city with decent prices. Air-conditioning: Yes, and easy to operate I definitely recommend this hotel!
