Amiga Inn Seoul

We book this hotel for September 12-18, 2024. While i am in the airport waiting for my flight my wife told me the booking was cancelled by me. In my surprise i double check it and yes it was cancelled by the hotel itself. We tried to email them and message via the agoda app but no one replied, And now Agoda is asking for a penalty payment from my cancellation using my bank card. So guys be careful not to book this hotel. I am sharing this experience for awareness for travelers only not.

We arrived at check-in time, so we didn't have to wait. Not far from the city center. easy to reach from the train station and airport. A few minutes from the metro, next to a market where you can eat quickly and inexpensively, there were no problems with the stomach. There are many cafes and shops nearby, we went to the Myeongdong area and the Cultural Center, and to the palaces we walked for an hour or two, exploring the surroundings! . The hotel building is not on the main street, but in a narrow alley. They don’t take out the garbage, but then we realized that here we have to sort and take it out ourselves. Since in Seoul we were immersed in the local culture, eating with chopsticks, we accepted the rules of this country, sorted and took out the garbage ourselves.. Towels were not changed. They wrote by phone that it was indicated on the reception door that cleaning was needed. Vacuum the floor and that's it. Then they asked for clean towels, and they brought them. There are 3 double and two triple rooms on the floor. The room is quite small, but we only came to sleep. Separate in the bathroom, separate slates for the room. Well-freezing refrigerator, two tables, sitting on the bed, which is close to the table. There is no closet - instead, upon request, they provide a meter-long hanger with hangers. Paper cups available on request. There are no cups, there is a kettle, shampoo, toothbrushes, shower gel, toothpaste, hairdryer. There is a cooler on the 1st floor, and an iron and microwave on each floor. Someone burned the iron and I put a stain on my blouse((((look carefully! /// Since we booked for 8 and 6 days, for a total of 14, we were not immediately given a triple room, but free of charge. Thanks to the administration! It was twice the size of the previous one, but there was one chair. There was even a bathroom. At the hotel entrance there are 2 parking spaces in front of the hotel. We used the internet at the motel, good! In the rain, they put a basket with umbrellas, you can take and walk with an umbrella. Overall I liked it.
