D Seven Suites

The price is reasonable for a hotel that's less than 5 stars so dont set too high expectations. Location was great coz its near subway lines and bus stations. Staff were very kind and helpful when asking for information about anything. Just a bit upset because I requested for a taxi pick up since I arrived on an almost midnight flight, but waited about 15 minutes and no one picked me up but they kindly compensated the mistake by making me use the egg wifi rental free which i am very grateful. I have no complaints with the room since I just came back to sleep and shower because Im out almost the whole day. Thank you for the accommodation, I'd definitely book again for my future travels to Seoul.

I liked this hotel once, but no anymore. This is my second time check-in to this hotel. First, the shower and the toilet are not separated in my room. Second, a lot of flies in my room, I killed seven in one night. Then, I ask for room changing. Receptionist told me not because they got no same room type, BUT I search online, there is exactly room type available! Eventually, I PAID ¥20,000 to get upgrade to deluxe room(which I feel quite non-sense as it is their room problem!). Third, the laundry machines are located on B1, that place look very dirty, and the detergent sold ¥2,000 (in other hotel in Busan, sold in ¥500). That’s why I decide no going back with either D7 or E7 anymore.

Stayed one night at D Seven Suites with a friend. Spent ~$60 USD via Expedia.com. PROS: - Good location in the center of Dongdaemun. Very close to several Dongmyo station exits with different shops and restaurants in the area. Within walking distance of Toy Street. - Clean rooms. - Helpful staff proficient in English. CONS: - Only one elevator. - Sink is located outside of the bathroom, within sight of the beds. - Wifi in the rooms is weak. The best time to use it is early in the morning. - Walls are thin, so noises from the hallway and next door neighbors can easily be heard. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably affordable place to stay for a short period of time, D7 Suites can fit the bill.
