Gangnam City Hostel

Friendly stuff, a good location in gangnam, near the subway and airport bus stop. Room is clean, small, but it's okay for the hostel and this price. Thank you, guys:) but next time will stay in the center of the city, because the place is far away from the center

Bed was big (we stayed 2-twin bed). Convenience location to every where. Free coffee/tea/ milk/ juice, cornflakes, bread & egg.. just eat as you can.. but need cook by yourself.... just like at home, not bad :)

Key word here -- Hostel. I stayed here for 5 nights -- wanted to be close to Gangnam & the subway. The good: Location (close to subway #3 & airport bus); price (for this area of Seoul); comfortable bed; big bathroom; friendly helpful staff when you can find them; electronic coded door locks. The bad: Not clean (anywhere, except the bed); small room (but lots of storage spaces); housekeeping only if requested; small unscreened window in bathroom hence mosquitoes in room (no bites, though); spotty WiFi (strange for Korea); noisy hallways (door lock pings & rowdy guests); staff not always in reception (security?). I think this place used to be a "fun" hotel -- there's a big shower behind glass; red mood lighting; lots of mirrors -- could be good for frisky travelers. Was OK for me...traveling alone. Lots of restaurants, coffee and convenience shops in the neighborhood. I did not try breakfast at the hostel. Three stars for location and price. (1+) for cleanliness.
