Hostel WOW

I really enjoyed myself, the hostel was mainly clean, tidy and quiet and in an absolutely perfect location to see all the main sights. Seriously the location is about as perfect as it's possible to be, so easy to go everywhere!! And the free basic breakfast is really nice, home cooked every morning

We stayed there from 23.09.2014 for 1 week and it was horrible. - Dirty beds - Dirty washrooms - No mosquito net because of air condition hose line through the window. - No warm water after 11AM - Unfriendly host (male korea) - trash everywhere etc. price (93.000Won) / performance ration is very bad for this hostel.

My sister and I stayed at Wow Hostel for 4 nights, which we booked through Airbnb. It was a small coed property of 5 floors near Gwanghwamun station. There was no lift so we had to carry our luggage up to the topmost floor where our room was located. Good thing the girl (I was not able to get her name) at the reception was insistent to help us. There was a common pantry and 2 PCs for guests' use. Our room, which was a dorm type, had 2 single beds with a shared toilet and bathroom with the other guests on the same floor. I just thought it would be better if there were at least 2 toilets and bathrooms since there are several rooms sharing the same facility. The mattresses were okay and were not new either. The room was pretty clean although the top of the tv set was kind of dusty. Location wise, I think it is perfect because Wow Hostel is just a few meters (walking distance) away from the bus stop and subway station, city hall, pharmacy, police station, tourist information center, cafes, restaurants, the area square and the Gyeongbokgung Palace. For travellers who are on a budget and are not very meticulous in small things, I guess Wow Hostel is a good choice. You can still enjoy the beauty of Seoul even when staying at a simple hostel :)
