Location is nice, 10mins walk to Hongdae station, many restaurants and shops within walking distance. They have a nice staff at check in counter who are able to speak in Chinese. However, it has a very unfriendly lady owner who has spoiled our holiday mood in Seoul.

Stayed for more than 1 week. Pros: 1. Location was superb. 2. Extremely cheap price for accommodation. Cons: 1. Place was dirty. I understand that the price was cheap but i thought they could have at least vacuumed the place. From the look of it, it seems that not once did they vacuum the room throughout the week i was staying. 2. Not sure why, but my friend and I had little bumps on our hands and for me, a little at my neck after sleeping in the room. 3. They actually forgot to remove the trash from my room once. And on a 2nd occasion, they left the trash tied up in the bathroom and forgot to take it out until i had to go remind them. Conclusion: Understand that i shouldn't be complaining for the price offered, but it would have been nice if they helped to vacuum the place.

House740 located nearby subway and Hongdae. Also surrounded by many restaurants. Just cross the road you will see many shops. The owner is very helpful. The room is clean, nice, and comfy. This is a recommended hostel if you plan to go to Seoul.
