LEX Tourist Hotel

A pleasant stay. Basic hotel with no facilities but it's near to subway and bus stop is just 2-minute walk away. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. Room is clean, new towels and bottled water every day. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Just a suggestion to maybe have an instruction sheet in English for the remote controls so we don't need to randomly press or guess what does the Hangul means.

We stayed here in May 2018 and were very pleased. Easy access to the metro and to Gangnam. Very clean and the staff were really helpful. The hotel does have a nightclub below it but as we were on the 7th floor we could not here any noise.

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, a clean and sleek design. My room was facing the main road, so it was quite noisy. There are double glass windows and shutters - once all a closed the noise from the traffic is subdued quite a bit. There is coffee in the morning in the lobby. There are lots of Plastic Surgery patients in the hotel which I had to get used to. Plastic surgery patients can order porridge for free in the morning. Wifi is very fast. The hotel is very close to the subway station. I didn´t find the neighborhood very nice but I might have expected something completely different of Gangnam, Seoul. Not all receptionists could speak English well. There are quite different room rates if you pay cash versus via credit card, so it´s worth changing money. Taxi booking is possible but with cash only. The room was very clean, the carpets in the hallway not.
