Mini Hotel DALKOM Dongdaemun

There are many flight from HK to Seoul but most of the schedule were very bad either early in the morning or after evening. If we continued travel from Seoul to Pyeongchang, more the two to three hour by bus, would suffer for my children. I stay one night in this mini hotel after arrival airport around 8pm. Settle down and take some food around the hotel. It was very convenience to the shopping center and the old castle. We satisfied the basic facility of the hotel since we just stay one night for transit.

Excellent location with only 1 min from Dongdaemun station. Room is clean and neat. All the staff are very nice. Will definitely recommend to friends and come back again. Cons: No clean up of the room during our stay for 2 nights.

Stayed here for 3 nights during our trip in Seoul. This place offers all the essentials that you need. Pros: 1. Excellent location. The hotel is located 2 mins away from the exit of Dongdaemun station. Shopping & food is abundant in this location as well. 2. The rooms are clean. 3. Value for money. 4. Friendly receptionist who is able to converse in Mandarin. 5. Toiletries and towels are provided. 6. Functional floor heaters. 7. Although it is located in the backalley but it is quite safe as there are other hotels/inns in the alley. Also there is a security door. Cons: 1. On one day the bed sheet had some stains on it but I was too tired so I just ignored and slept on it anyway. 2. The room can be a little cramped. I wouldn't mind staying at this place again if I travel to Seoul again. Note that the breakfast is more towards backpackers style where you cook/prepare your own meal and wash up after you're done. Bread, jams, juices, milk, cereal and eggs are available.
