Golden Forest Residence

Our room was not too big, considering there were three of us sharing. But it was clean and quiet. Large flat screen were a plus. One time the hot water in the bathroom wasn't running, so I asked the receptionist. He then showed me (in understandable English) how to fiddle with the automatic control panel (similar to ours) to turn on the hot water back. One down side would be the size of the towels. They were too small they looked like gym towels.

Generally the hotel is a welcome alternative to a downtown hotel. Not much going on in the perimeters but there is a subway entrance nearby. The breakfast is just average .... If you want the same menu served for the next five days. The location and ambience of the hotel are also good if you are part of a Group tour.

Booked into this hotel thru travel agent. Theres nothing around the hotel. Service was very slow and bad. Front desk and coffee house staff no smiling face and rude. Breakfast not much choice n not tasty. Need to clear the table after meal. If you put it at the wrong place ,waiter will give u a stern look n question you. Very funny...like policeman.Do not recommended to stay in this hotel ...
