Loved my stay at Boutique Hotel K! It's certainly not right in the center of Seoul, but the subway next door took me everywhere easily. The real plus? They kept my suitcase all day after check-out, which allowed me to fully enjoy my last day before my flight at 8pm. The staff is lovely, the room is clean and comfortable, and there is even a 7/11 in the hotel – in short, an excellent little stop in Seoul that I recommend!

The hotel is old, stuffy & dusty. There is no general area at the lobby to move about and the dining area is just stuffy. Wifi in the rooms was really slow, The room was large (by Korean standards) but there was dust everywhere. The bathroom was fairly clean but no bidet. Funny thing is there was an old PC in the room (which I believe has no purpose). Windows were small which added a claustrophobic feel to the room. Floor heating worked well since I was surprised to walk barefoot on a chilly early morning. However, I highly commend the attentiveness of Ms. Soy who spoke good English. She helped me with basically everything that I needed assistance with (delivery, tour confirmation, airport transfers). Kudos to her for making my stay pleasant.

In spite of an upgrade, there are several basic things that were not working. Front counter was kind and responsive but the cleaning staff spoke neither English nor Korean. The place smells bad. It caters to budget tour groups.
