Dongdaemun Inn Guest House

Our room is triple room facing Dongdaemun Design Plaza. We really love our room although it's small but clean, comfortable and complete with heater (really need this because we went during winter), small washing machine, tv, toilet and bathroom and electric kettle. Bus stop for airport bus limousine no 6001(For Incheon Airport) and 6021 (This one for Gimpo Airport) just in front Nike Building, a few step only from our guesthouse. This is the reason I choose this guesthouse, so easy to go here from airport. Just tell Dongdaemun History and Culture Park at ticket counter and off you go. The nearest subway station is Dongdaemun History and Culture Park, just cross the road. Dotta, Migliore not so far from guesthouse...

We came to Dongdaemun often to buy fashion and stayed at 24 Guesthouse a few times. Although it's not too close to the wholesellers, the walk is easy. Now there's a shuttle that runs to the new mall next door so that helps. Breakfast is simple but ok to start the day. It locates very close to the metro station and lots of restaurants nearby. A room facing DDP is the best.

Stayed for 4 nights. Took the ensuite room. Felt it was a bit small, but cozy enough for us two. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Allowed us to wash up first as room was unavailable for us to check in. Breakfast has a very simple spread, sufficient for us to start our day. Only one floor served breakfast, so if the area is full, you can bring it up to your common dining area on the respective floors. I particularly like the mini washing machine. And found it enjoyable to do laundry during my vacation. Allowed us to have clean clothes throughout or stay. Basically would recommend this place if you want to shop around Dongdaemun area till early morning. You won't have problems going back home, even when the subway is close. You will definitely save money from paying your cab fare home.
