Hotel Valentine

The location is very close to Guro and Gasan Digital Complex, very good for business visitors. The room is very clean and very big. Free Internet, free drinks, two big 50" TV, HD TV channels, DVD players. The hotrl is very close to Home plus super market, very easy to find restaurants. 10 min walk to Doksan train station, around 35 mins you can arrive Seoul city center area. The clerk's English is not very good but they do their best to serve you. The most important thing is the free Sauna in the bath room, it can wash away all your tired after a hard working day. You get much much more than you paid in this hotel. I will stay in here again if I have the chance to come back.

This is a horrible "hotel". I say "hotel" because it really is not a hotel at all. This is a love motel trying to disguise itself as a hotel. The hotel pictures are misguiding as the rooms themselves are really old and dingy. I found splotches on the walls and ceilings, which upon further inspection were dead bugs. This later made sense as I found bug spray in the room infront of the mirror. The bathroom was really big, but the sink smelled horrible as there was a drainage problem. There was mold on the ceilings in the bathroom too. Overall, I was absolutely horrified at this hotel. I paid 82,000 won/night for a double bedroom and I felt ripped off. A love motel in Korea would have cost half that and probably be even cleaner. As well, this "hotel" is not a 5 minute walk from Doksan station as the hotel website says. It is more like a 15 minute walk and the hotel is hidden behind other buildings, so it is really hard to find. The Doksan station area is also not a good area to be in. Being a single female traveling, I did not feel safe around that area at night on my own. Overall, please DO NOT STAY HERE, as it is really a waste of money!!!!!!!!
