The Grand Suite

The Grand Suites Seoul is a set of serviced apartments located steps from the Convention Center, so the location is great for attending events there. There is no wifi network or wired internet in the rooms, only in the lobby of building A. The ambience is extremely depressing, with cracked walls, rusty rails, warped floors, and stained paint. The housekeeping is great and the rooms are clean. The front desk staff are extremely eager to help and they all speak English. Some of the buildings have front stairs without any ramps. The 3-bedroom apartment has 2 bathrooms, a king room, and two rooms with a single-bed in each.

We booked a apartment that comes with four big rooms. It is really big that it feels a bit empty even with ten people living in the same space. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay but the equipment there are a bit dated with dust over them, cleanliness is a problem. It is also a bit far away from the subway station, about a 10 to 15 minutes walk. When we check in , we are told that only six occupants allowed in our room, we told them we confirmed with the agency that all of us (6 adutls and 4 children) can stay there without extra charges, the staffs the allowed all of us to stay with no extra charges. we really want to thank them for their flexibility in handling such situation.

Brilliant place to stay.. if you are prepared to cook and dine in during most of your stay, this is the place.. our kids love this place.. well conditioned, well maintained and it is fully equipped with washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, cooking stove, oven etc.. great for family stay...
