A Casa Da Meixida

Writing the review because of being woken up in the middle of the night by some sparrow, rat, whatever noises. The space doesn't seem to be popular at all. The worst night sleep on the Camino for sure. It seems I am the only one guest at the time. Value wise it's a complete misery, it's both expensive, not well maintained and with overwhelming smell of mold. I had a suggestion of continuing straight to Santiago by other pilgrim which I should have accepted. From my perspective, I would never ever stay in any casa type accommodation. It's always a high risk of a complete disappointment and irritation.

Lovely rural house with great breakfast. The house is a little unloved though with broken shower and tape round door handles - it has so much potential though. No food options available on site which is a shame as it would have been lovely to have had a joint pilgrim meal there. As it is, we went to the partner hotel for a very nice meal.

Terrible cleaning The sparrow house belonging to the same space had rats and stains on the bedspread. The stir house, although more cared for, is not as rigorously cleaned. In need of airing and more rigorous maintenance.
