Alix Boutique Hotel

This must be the worst hotel I've ever booked! They refuse to give us back our money even though I want to cancel because my friend passed away before the trip! And they have plenty of time to rent out the room again as I announced this over a week before arrival!! SHAME!!

It's terrible, not recommended. The air conditioning has not worked for weeks and was not repaired. As a solution because it is very hot and they give you a mini fan. You can't even open windows because it is on a road and there is a lot of noise. Super dirty, bathtub with mold, cobwebs, walls with stains, sheets with holes, even the door frames deteriorated. The bathroom light bulbs and a wall light are out, there is no maintenance at all. The last straw is the mattress, which is so deformed and you can't even sleep. Buffet breakfast lacking in everything and eating the leftovers from one day to the next, because they don't replace anything. I will never return, worse than a hostel.

They are a fine place, don't get me wrong, but definitely not a boutique hotel. Walking distance (15') from Indirex, but the walk is complicated (no paths or sidewalks). If you are in Arteixo for work, and you get a good rate (under 60€), you can stay there. Otherwise, pass.
