Casa Grande Do Bachao

10/10. I was with my partner and our dog spending two days in this beautiful place. An unbeatable environment that conveys a lot of peace and tranquility. The house as such very well decorated, with a lot of personality and very original, maintaining the essence of the monastery that was at the time. Ideal for disconnecting from the busy lives we lead most people and doing a real dopamine detox. Nothing bad to talk about.

This place was a real gem of a find. It provided exactly what we were looking for in our short 4 night honeymoon. Surrounded by nature, the grounds and buildings, although not huge, provided plenty of diversity and interest. The pool was greatly appreciated during the heatwave at that time and we very much enjoyed the honesty bar and games room. It was relaxing and well-placed to make day-time excursions, though we found that we were very happy to stay mostly within the grounds enjoying the facilities and resident pets. The restaurant was exceptional. The décor, service and food was excellent. We will definitely return!

A place out of time... where it is good to live in this nature so beautiful and so far from the city, in a silence "monacal". The welcome is friendly, the many lounges invite to rest, the comfortable rooms and the breakfast served near nature is complete and of good quality. Discreet but efficient staff
