Gran Hotel Santiago

A wonderful experience!!! I would return without hesitation to stay there.

The hotel is within walking distance of the old town of Santiago de Compostella. The beds are lovely, the decor of the hotel and the rooms: it is slowly becoming a bit dated. The atmosphere, breakfast and all staff deserve a compliment; our stay was fine. We parked the car in the parking garage, but we did not use the car for use in the city.... All-in-all: this hotel is recommended (if you appreciate the somewhat dated decor) And... Santiago de Compostella not only has a beautiful center with a great basilica, but also a huge branch of the department store Ël Corte Ingles"

Pleasant although a bit outdated. Don’t understand reviews complaining about friendliness as our check in with Ariel was polite, friendly and pleasant and Ramon was outstanding when I showed up at reception at 4 am in need of medical assistance.
