Hotel Spa Relais & Chateaux A Quinta da Auga

I had a very negative experience at this hotel. The private spa was in poor condition (dirty, with insects, and on one occasion it smelled of urine). When I complained, the staff downplayed the issue and denied everything. I filed a formal complaint with Relais & Châteaux. More than a year later, they cancelled my confirmed reservation and banned me from the hotel, citing "serious incidents" during that stay. It seems quite clear that this is retaliation for having filed a complaint. I have now been waiting almost 24 hours without any meaningful response. The hotel is going worse over time, same price or higher with qualities doing down. Including personnel, which is at this point the main pain point of this place

All excellent, from the best hotels I've ever been to. We like to go to hotels with a certain quality, that are nice and welcoming and that have a touch of distinction. A bit the opposite to the accommodations of the big chains, which seek more profit or photo-advertising in networks than the traveler’s liking. We have repeated and will certainly repeat again.

It is a fascinating place to spend a quiet weekend, but at the same time with the cultural and leisure offerings offered by Santiago de Compostela
