Naturaleza Pesqueria del Tambre

The location of the hotel and its surroundings are unbeatable. You have several routes to walk and reach cute little towns. However, the hotel's features and customer service are conspicuous by their absence. The normal rooms (not superior) are in the Casa de los Maestros, 2 km from the reception and the pool so you have to go by car. The pool was green and unusable. The breakfast was scarce (one day there was no bread to make toast) and not of the best quality (sugary juver juices, four pieces of melon...). The most important thing: THERE IS NO KITCHEN. Therefore, lunches and dinners have to be in Noia, which is 30 minutes by car from the hotel. It is incredible that with the location of the hotel they do not have a restaurant to enjoy an outdoor dinner.

This hotel is what used to be the accommodation for the workers at the abandoned Centrica Hidrolectrica plant next door. We stopped for a drink on the terrace in front of the hotel on the river side, which is a lovely setting.The service was enthusiastic but a little erratic. Prices seem very reasonable.

The road to Hotel Pesqueria is all ready very promising. Once arrived we were very overwhelmed by the beauty of this place and decided very quick that two days weren't enough for us in La Pesqueiria and we booked an extra day. The view of the river flowing in front of the reception building (which is the same as the breakfast/diner room( is great. You can sit under the trees by the river to have drink or on beach chairs facing the river. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are all located some were else and al clean and cosy. There was a little fridge in our app which all ways comes in vary handy. You can have lovely walks here by the river, take a swim in the pool or just do nothing and enjoy nature. We really want to come back here to show all our friends and family.
