Emblematic hotel in the center of La Coruña facing the fountain of the scholar Curros Enríquez, at the back, and the marina at the front. Classic hotel with a great reputation in A Coruña, a display of taste and excellent rooms with very good beds to achieve rest for the traveler in transit. Friendly reception, absolute cleanliness, cafeteria and restaurant. Decades ago it even had a disco bar, now gone, where I was able to dance and listen to 80s music in a select atmosphere. It has, and it does keep, the Casino, which I do not have the pleasure or intention of visiting.
Walking, we found emblematic places and streets like Calle Real, and surroundings like Calle Galera, etc... where one can find, by searching, those taverns that still exist that I frequented when I was younger and many already gone. The fantastic hotel looks out at the Cantabrian Sea and the lights of the Castle of San Antón are an important historical reflection to glimpse the late sunset at the northernmost point of peninsular Spain in summer.
