Rustico Spa Finisterrae Hotel

Beautiful site to stay several days with swimming pool and beautiful ocean view Nice and clean room Cons: negative; Welcoming rather cold because arrived well before Check in time (3pm) but we could wait in shelter Meal without choice! We got mussels in the starter! Not everyone likes it! It’s still daring! And before serving he doesn't ask! Otherwise main course chicken a little spicy and chocolate cake Coffee and second glass of wine to pay. No soundproofing very very noisy we even hear opening closet doors from one bedroom to another

The rural hotel has charm and even more so when you arrive and are welcomed in a very good way. The facilities are great, to disconnect and the staff, nice, Daniel, the receptionist is very friendly. Too bad we were just passing, I wish I could have been some more time.

Interesting experience indeed.. hotel lobby is charming and made us curious. However, we were a bit early (before official check-in time of 3pm) so nobody was at the lobby. We came back a bit later to be ‘welcomed’ by a young lady (student?) who clearly was not very interested in the job. We got a room on the groundfloor with a window on the streetside. The entrance was in the ‘veranda’ behind two glass doors and next to a bird cage. This made it a bit difficult to get fresh air circulated in the room. All in all, it was not bad, but the hotel was characterized by ‘noise’. Bad-taste muzak in the bar and during breakfast, birds making noise in the bar, tv playing loud in the veranda and dogs barking all the time in the house next door. Also the matrasses deserve a refresh.. Finally we got the impression that the owner was a person with strict rules (cf.picture). It all gave the hotel a bit of a strange after-feeling.. it’s a pity because it has some character and potential, not the least because of the original and good breakfast.
