Beautiful old hotel, good location, helpful staff, great space to relax, great base if you want to have a base even after check out

Great find. We chose this hotel by chance finding it particularly well located, comfortable room, excellent bed and bathroom. Paid parking nearby worked well. The staff were excellent, the breakfast fine and the garden a haven of peace within the City.

Very comfortable accomodation with historic interest. Very well situated for the old town access, cathedral etc. Can't thank the staff enough for arranging postal return of 2 expensive to replace rain jackets we left behind. Highly recommended.
