Ac Ciutat Dalcoi

Two days in this beautiful city. The hotel was great, the room was comfortable, clean, and we had beautiful views. We did not have breakfast, but we had lunch one day and everything was delicious, the reception staff was super friendly. The hotel and restaurant building is very interesting, like many modernist buildings in the city. A ten.

We stayed at the Sercotel Ciutat d'Alcoi Hotel for a weekend due to a wedding in the area. We are frequent travelers and usually stay in 4 and 5-star hotels, so we believe we have a clear reference regarding the level of service and facilities expected in establishments of this category. I made the reservation for three rooms for the whole family, and although the overall experience was acceptable, there were several aspects that we consider could be improved. In our case, we stayed in a superior double room that felt somewhat cramped in terms of space. Additionally, we noticed certain cleanliness details in the bathroom that should be reviewed with greater attention. Regarding breakfast, we believe the offerings are quite limited for a four-star hotel. Moreover, the service in this area seemed somewhat lacking in dynamism, and the attitude of the staff did not convey the professionalism and customer care that one would expect, sometimes giving the impression of discomfort or reluctance in performing their duties. On the other hand, the daytime reception staff was correct, polite, and attentive. However, our experience with the nighttime service was not satisfactory. We needed a kettle to prepare some infusions, and despite requesting an alternative, we were not even offered the possibility of heating water, which we consider a basic gesture of customer care. In short, although the hotel has positive aspects, our experience did not meet the expectations we had for an establishment of this category, so we will probably not stay here again.

I think for a 4-star hotel, it could be improved in some ways. A coffee bar, for when you arrive at night, late; instead of waxing in the room, have a drink and enjoy a chat with your companions. Let the restaurant operate every day, and if possible, morning and evening. The breakfast buffet is fine, but better. The treatment of the employees, excellent.
