Europeo Hotel

I find it a shame the treatment by the receptionist who poses as a manager, we have asked for a bill or ticket from the bar and it has denied us (apart from raising our voices without letting us speak) we have asked to talk to a manager and it has denied us until finally allowed us to talk to the owner who is a wonderful person and has solved it since we had been overcharged and has returned the money that belonged to us. He showed us a list of unsealed prices and when we returned they had exchanged it for one with different prices and sealed. We have been offended and ripped off by the impertinent receptionist. Good thing the owner has come to his senses and rectified. Please find attached the change of charter of the establishment

Arrived at 10pm had to phone to get someone to come to "reception" we were literally pointed towards our room which was no more than a garden shed but dirtier. All sun beds were ripped and dirty, as was the pool. Furniture in the "room" was all broken. Wires hanging out of plugs. Shower FILTHY. Sex club right next door. 20 minute walk down dark red then along dual carriage way to get to nearest bar. DO NOT STAY HERE. I would not allow my dog to sleep in the "room". It is probably just somewhere for the sex club workers to take their clients...... DISGUSTING is an understatement. Should not even have hotel in the title.

We arrived at 2.00 am. Nobody on reception. No signal on mobile so we couldn't ring number on door. We waited 1.5 hours until a passer by from adjacent sex club rang number for us. Receptionist was sleeping in her apartment and got up to book us in. No apologies for wait at all and she didn't appear to know that we were booked in!!! Room was really basic, tired and dirty. We asked for key to safety deposit box. We were in room105. Receptionist couldn't find key to 105 so gave us key to 107. Of course it didn't work. Back to reception. No key. Receptionist shrugged shoulders and said "its okay......" We asked to change rooms and were told they were fully booked so not possible so she shouldn't be given out key to 107... We went into Benidorm for day. On return asked for a kettle and cups that should have been provided. 30 minutes later we were presented with a mop and bucket????????? It really wasn't funny at the time. Back to reception and eventually kettle given , no cups but no surprise. My husband filled the kettle, plugged it in and was lucky he wasn't killed when sparks flew out from the lead. He dropped it quickly and fortunately suffered only a scare. Kettle returned and we were told no more kettles available. The sun loungers around the pool were so old and decrepit they were unfit for use. Crazy Golf and in state of abandonment. Breakfast was dreadful. Staff were rude and unhelpful. The worst hotel I have any visited in my life. STAY AWAY. We were forced to pay out for another hotel for the following 7 days of our holiday.
