Good value, friendly hotel in a great location We recently stayed at the Palm Court Benidorm and had a great time. The location is perfect—close to the centre but tucked away from the main noise. It's a small, cozy hotel (around 30 rooms) with incredibly friendly staff who are always happy to help. Pros: Great prices: Very cheap drinks at the bar (beer from €1.50) and affordable food options, including breakfast with a drink from €4. The menu is basic (burgers, toasties, fish and chips) but does the job. Cleanliness: Rooms are basic and on the smaller side, but very clean and great for a 2-star rating. Free AC: The air con is locked at 25°C and mostly runs in the day, but it’s free now so no complaints. Things to note: There was a mix-up with our booking and we were given a standard 1-bathroom room instead of the larger 2-bathroom room we paid for. However, the manager handled it well and compensated us for the mistake. Also, be aware there is a €200 deposit required at check-in. We paid by card and it was refunded back to our account a few days after checkout. Would definitely recommend for a budget-friendly stay!

.stayed in a studio and after mixed reviews I was apprehensive. I was right to be. Literally could not swing a cat, especially when beds were pulled out. I had emailed and asked could we not have a ground floor(2 single girls and wanted to feel safe) . I’d read reviews about balconies being beside a pathway and people walking past so thought I’d ask for a higher floor. 2 emails and no response. When we arrive she kept repeating “you booked a studio “ “that’s what you booked yes?”. I thought ok she got my email lol. So I’m not sure if only studios are on bottom floor? But a response explaining that would’ve been appreciated . I maybe would’ve changed acc. Our door opened into the hotel lobby also and people coming and going all night , up and down the stairs right outside our door. Again didn’t feel the safest for two single girls The bathroom is tiny. Not ideal for two girls trying to get ready lol(IYKYK). Even with the curtains (?) pulled u can see through to room when light is on . Not great for getting ready lol. Balcony is small but enough for 2 people. More like a conservatory than a balcony and yes it opened onto the main pathway from front of hotel to the pool . Needless to say we never sat out as no privacy and the rooms from next hotel looked onto us . The pool area is not massive, suffice I’d say but for a small place, the sunbeds go so quickly. Pool opens @10am and I went down at 1030 one morning and all had towels on them. Usual story people put them down and some don’t grace them with their presence til the afternoon. This needs addressed. Not fair on other guests who want to spend all day at the pool and give the pool bar/cafe their custom. We also had a cockroach problem. Came back one night to one running about the apt. Had to get the night porter to come and get it. Woke up the next morning to one lying on its back on the kitchen counter (still alive). POSITIVES were the staff were friendly Food in cafe is really good and cheap. The location is perfect for both old and new town. And overall was clean enough. I know people who have stayed in apts and loved them but couldn’t believe our studio when we showed them 👀.so just make sure you book an apt. Wouldn’t stay again. Have paid same amount for apts that were bigger and better unfortunately . Just wanted to try a different area
