Resort Gran Confort Camping Almafra

We were cheated on the electricity bill. According to Pitchup, the first 7 days included electricity. However, we had to pay for the full 10 days. Upon our inquiry, we were informed that Pitchup's translation was incorrect.

This is my first ever review but felt everyone who books this site should know what to expect. The campsite is extremely clean. The caravans are well equipped with air con as well. The couple who look after the sun holiday vans are very helpful on a daily bases. The staff are friendly but have no idea what to do when things go wrong. They have no idea where to send you to the correct hospital when things go wrong. The website has pictures of water slides which is why we picked the site but they are no longer there. The kids have nothing to do but play football but that shuts at 8pm. No park facility’s. The food is good but the chef is not a nice guy. He lost our order for the children then tried to blame us for him being too busy. The pool is a salt water pool which is mentioned no where and really spoils a good swim. You cannot smoke on the open balcony but you can on either end??? You cannot smoke on the open area by the stage either??? The entertainment is at best second rate. 1 hour per evening of a singer when they bother to turn up at all. The entertainment staff are of no use either. We went to girona last year with sun holidays and in my opinion to a much better site.

We went to eat at an event and it was embarrassing due to the delay in the food, the price was extremely high, and on top of that, the menu was misleading. They give you a menu with drinks included, and when you arrive, they tell you that alcohol is not included and you have to pay separately. It’s a scam instead of informing you beforehand.
