The whole experience was disappointing due to the air con not working. The first night we arrived I couldn’t get the air con to cool the room. I thought I wasn’t using the remote control right. So the second evening the receptionist came to the room and showed me how to use the remote. I was actually doing it right. The temperature in the room was 35 degrees all night. In the morning I told reception, but it was Saturday and the technician wasn’t working. On Monday and Tuesday the technician came to look at the air con and said it was ok. It wasn’t until I took a receptionist up to the room at 12.45 pm and he saw the temperature was 36 degrees that I was believed that it wasn’t working. I asked to be moved to another room but was told they were fully booked. I was told a new air con system was going to be installed. At no point did the Manager come to see me about the situation. I was given a 2 euro bottle of water to compensate. The day of checkout we went for breakfast and then we were going to have a shower and pack, as we’d got till 12 o’clock. When we got back to the room the engineers were waiting to install the new unit. I asked them to give us some time to shower and pack. So the last day was rushed. Besides the problem with the air con the breakfast was always cold, fried eggs and beans aren’t nice cold. The good things about the hotel was that the housekeeping was very good. The room was large. The receptionists were all very friendly. No noise from other rooms. If you get room 407 you will know that the air con is brand new.

Just back from Hotel La Santa Faz, we stayed for 9 nights and were on the Forth floor so no noise from the street below in fact it was very quiet in the hotel the whole time we stayed there . The rooms were basic but very clean with fresh towels everyday , we were half board and the Breakfast was ok although sometimes not very hot, the evening meal was also ok and we never went hungry . The staff were very welcoming and always helpful especially Carlos, Rafa and Elias , on the whole a nice clean hotel close to the beach , bars and restaurants. We will be returning

Good location in the Old Town. 5 minute walk to Levante Beach. Rooms small but clean, adequate for a short break. Definitely not suitable for a week or two stay. Very, very thin walls which made sleeping very difficult. Every movement/ conversation could be heard from other people. Street noise was also a problem as doors did not shut properly! And there are quite a few late night spots in the area! Breakfast was good. Didn't spend anymore time than necessary in the hotel other than to (try) to sleep, have breakfast and to shower. Would not return tbh!!
