Vina del Mar

We have been staying here for around 12 years, each June and each September. We literally would not look or consider anything else. Great central location, one road back from the beach. Great facilities in the apartments, very clean and maintenance is kept up, the pool checked and cleaned daily. Comfortable, spacious, clean, affordable and the amazing Julia on reception is truly irreplaceable, Julia has been so helpful on each of our visits. Yes, to some the apartments interior may look a bit dated BUT, they offer everything you need for a holiday space to live in. By updating the apartments at this stage when they so much cover your needs is not essential and this would only bump up the price. It's not that I'm not fussy or want basic, my decision to use this as my holiday accommodation is that it offers everything you want and need. Prefer it to a 4* hotel that would cost the earth and likely to disappoint. Looking forward to our stay this month.

The apartments leave a lot to be desired, they are old and dirty, the pool does not clean it (as you can see in the photographs) as well as the rules of use of the pool that are useless because they break said rules and those responsible do absolutely nothing, the treatment is abysmal except the cleaning equipment that are lovely people, but for the owner and some other employee the education shines by its absence. The positive is that it is on the second line of the beach and from the apartments you can see the beach and is close to the center of Benidorm

Our apartment was ideal for the two of us, nice and compact but still spacious. Balcony had ample room. Shower had excellent pressure and easily adjustable, this is a first in my experience, very good. One downside, general rules are as most apartments and hotels is to vacate the room by 11 am, this the norm, unfortunately we had a late flight so we requested to stay in the apartment until late afternoon, or leave our luggage in a lock up so as to not lug them around all day, which was granted, but for a fee of €45. I felt this to be rather unfair considering the initial cost and If they so readily extended our stay for a few hours, it's obvious they had no one else going into that apartment that day so an extension of a few hours was no inconvenience to anyone, so my view was, that it was a blatant revenue raiser, but we had no choice, so would NOT!! recommend these apartments for that one reason.
