⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect stay at Dorma Hotel, Alicante! My mom and I came for a lovely mommy-daughter trip for 3 nights, and we stayed at the Dorma Hotel — it was absolutely perfect. The service wasn’t 5-star… it was 10-star! We were treated like royalty from start to finish. 💛 The pool is quite small but it’s lovely — we didn’t spend much time there anyway, we were too busy exploring! The hotel is centrally located right by the castle — perfect. The night staff were absolutely wonderful. We did have a little issue our first night — our bathroom had a funny sewage smell — but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault at all. And honestly? Their response was 10-star all over again. They moved us straight away to another room — this one had a bath on our balcony! It was fantastic! 🛁✨ It was my mom’s birthday, and they made it so special — complimentary champagne with breakfast, and even a bottle on checkout too! 🥂 We got a lovely welcome pack when we arrived, and another pack to take home with us — they really think of everything. This town is beautiful and truly Spanish — we popped into Benidorm and lasted 45 minutes, it just wasn’t for us. But here? Santa Pola and this area? Absolutely stunning. 🇪🇸 Out of everywhere we’ve stayed, this is honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever been to. We’re already planning to come back — we love it that much! 100% recommend 💛   How’s that, lovely? 😊✨

Five couples went to eat the €20 menu, without drinks; the menu was very, very bad, they charged us €5 for bread per person, and another €5 for each drink plus VAT, as I said, NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DINING.

The hotel is not a four-star, my room is tiny, the closet is minuscule, there is a smell of dampness. Since I had a boat trip to Tabarca the next day, I asked to leave the car in the parking lot until I returned from the island and they told me it was impossible, that I should leave it in a public one a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There was no complimentary water in the rooms; since we had to go out to buy water because we weren't counting on this, we mentioned it at the front desk and they told us they always leave one complimentary bottle in the rooms—curious, there wasn't any in ours or our children's. They brought one up to each room after this. We will never stay at this hotel or any in their chain again. A totally disappointing experience.
