Best Oasis Tropical

We stayed here as part of a Jet2 holiday and, up until the final day, were ready to leave a positive review. Unfortunately, the hotel’s handling of our departure completely overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay. Despite our pickup not being until 4:15pm, we were told we could no longer access the restaurant after 12 noon. My wife explained to reception that she is a Type 1 diabetic and needed to eat, but the manager refused to make any exception. He didn’t even speak to us directly—his decision was relayed through a young receptionist while he remained in his office. When we arrived at 9pm on the first day, we had already missed all meals, though we were offered a late-night plate. We also ate out on a couple of occasions, meaning we didn’t use the restaurant every day. Given that we paid for seven days of food, we expected the hotel to allow us access until we were collected, especially considering my wife’s medical condition. If this approach is part of Best Hotels’ official policy, then sadly we won’t be choosing them again.

The best part: the rooms with two 150 cm beds, a huge TV, and complimentary water and soft drinks from the hotel. The worst part: the meals are very repetitive, with hamburgers and hot dogs at every meal. Basic quality. Lines of more than 20 people at breakfast for pancakes and omelets. Lines of 25 people for a slice of pizza at the Italian-themed dinner. Stressful dining room; the waiters cannot keep up with setting tables. There are no specific activities for teenagers. Only for small children and adults, and although they say it is also for teenagers, it is not the same. We were very comfortable with the room and the cleanliness. Special mention to Brigitte, from the cleaning team, who is very kind, smiling, and polite.

Our experience was great, a spectacular week, everything magnificent, the rooms super big with 2 large beds, I went with my husband and my 11-year-old son, clean everything renovated, the entertainers spectacular, I mean they encouraged everyone to participate hahaha, the only downside, that the buffet is not very varied, very repetitive, but great there is always something to choose from, for me hats off
