If truth be told it is a bit run down and outdated and a bit of TLC wouldn't go a miss. The place is remote and a car is definitely needed. The golf course in parts is run down and neglected. There's one hole with a water feature that's right bang in the middle of the fairway which is switched off and doesn't look like its been used in years. The greens were decent it's just the rest of it. Work is needed there for both hotel and golf course.

It is a family hotel, but the outdoor pool is not open from Monday to Friday during the height of summer and a heatwave because there is no lifeguard. The playroom opens on Tuesdays starting at 6 PM. In the spa, there is no schedule for young people aged 14-18 to enter, and the restaurant closes at 10:30 PM for dinner, so everything is the opposite to ensure a pleasant family stay. Other than that, it is normal. Certainly not a 5-star hotel, but the quality-price ratio is good. A true 5-star hotel at this time of year costs significantly more than this hotel.

For a 5* hotel, it has some deficiencies, such as leaks in the indoor pool. The lifeguard leaves the outdoor pool at 6 PM. In the mini bar of the room, there was an open bottle and half.
