Camping Los Escullos San Jose

Honestly, there are so many things that I don't know where to start. To stay in this place you have to be psychologically prepared. It has a beautiful pool and you see a spectacular sunrise but, at what price? 1. You arrive via an unpaved road that is not suitable for low cars. (This is a mere fact, not a criticism) 2. Upon arriving you see a real mess in the back area where it smells quite a bit like animal excrement. 3. They assign you a room (in our case two doubles) and that is where the adventure begins: In one of the rooms the drains are connected and the sink waste comes out in the shower if you do both things at the same time. 4. In another of the rooms it is practically impossible to open and close the door, which is a sliding glass door with a simple latch, but it is so worn and deteriorated that it does not fit. Furthermore, it does not lock from the inside, so we slept without being able to lock the door for the 3 nights. 5. In both rooms (and the entire premises) the power goes out constantly. When you notify them they will tell you that "they have called the company" and that "it is an overload fault." We have looked at other reviews and it has always been like this. We believe that they do not have the necessary power contracted to cover the expense and that is why the fuses constantly blow when turning on all the air conditioners at the same time because: 6. The rooms are an OVEN. It is infernally hot. It is the price to pay to see a spectacular sunrise and have the sun shine directly in all morning long. 7. The water does not always come out hot. In fact, 2 out of the 3 days we showered with cold water. It is true that it is Almería in the summer, but honestly, a minimum of maintenance is expected and being able to take a hot shower at the very least. 8. They do not clean the rooms until you leave. They also do not take out the trash or give you toilet paper often, unless you ask for it. The rest of the tenants were as surprised and horrified as we were. In fact, a couple who were in other "renovated" rooms could not believe what they were experiencing. In short, it is not at the level necessary to be rented out, much less at the price they offer it for. It is a wonderful house with tremendous potential, but the mere fact that a person is constantly going to flip the breakers, not being able to take a shower in peace (either because the power goes out, or because there is no hot water), or that a door is damaged or does not work, and it has not been resolved before the next tenant arrives, gives a feeling of neglect that prevents you from wanting to return to the place. Honestly, we will NOT return nor will we recommend it.

Family campsite in a unique setting. Restaurant food excellent quality and price. Nearby we find the beach of Los Escullos and the Isleta del Moro. This year we will repeat even if it catches us a little away😃

We were staying in a Safari store and the truth is that everything quite well, large refrigerator, shower, 2 double beds and a bunk bed, microwave and coffee maker with several capsules, to put some but , I missed gel and shampoo to shower and sugar or saccharine sachets for the coffee capsules offered. The negative point I put in the breakfast I had included in the room price, the staff a little rough and worse is that if you order scrambled eggs they charge you as extra, without warning beforehand that they are not included .
