Apartahotel Marina Rey

We had a reservation from the 28th to September 2nd, we didn't even last 24 hours. We arrived and the room they had given us on the -1 floor had direct access to the pools, we were astonished (in a bad way) and since the walls of the apartment were very dirty up to a considerable height of more than a meter and a half, the bathroom was old and neglected, no, the next level, the bathtub had the whole edge chipped and in bad condition and inside on the floor of it another large rust stain. I went to reception because they didn't even leave sheets or towels for my son.. I asked if they could change our room or apartment and they gave us another one in better condition and there they did leave us sheets and towels for the child and in the bathroom a mini dose of gel and a mini hand soap... The time to sleep arrived and the sofa bed was indecent since it has a very low mattress, very old and you feel all the springs of the sofa, the other beds the mattress was worn out and quite deformed so we woke up with back pain and of course without being able to sleep much, not only that!!! From the time we arrived on Friday the 28th at 4:30 PM until 10 AM on the 29th (I mean today) the water treatment plant, the jets, pool cleaners were nowhere to be seen and of course the pool water was turning greenish, I mentioned it at reception and they passed a note to someone and while I was talking to the agency that booked for me obviously to cancel the remaining 4 nights and refund the corresponding amount, the pool jets started to be heard, not to mention the 💩 floor from not cleaning it in the dining room or the room before it, anyway... We already know where we don't have to go anymore, in case it's of any use to you, in basement 1, room 222, they had better renovate it entirely!! What neglect in maintenance and cleaning 🥴

Some dirt is visible in the common areas, unprofessional staff, and terrible food with little variety.

The apartments are old; we were there 20 years ago and they are the same. When you enter them they are moderately clean and the sheets are clean and smell like air freshener. The pool and its exterior areas are quite dirty, and the restaurant and bar are the worst we have ever been to. The restaurant facility is completely dirty, the food looks terrible, everything is covered in smears, the floor, windows, chairs. There is no cleanliness, and the food neither looks nor tastes good. The apartments do have "decent" cleanliness, although they are old. If I had to return to these apartments, I would only book accommodation, but I think that for the price they have and a little more, there must be more decent places.
