A very disappointing experience. I called on a Monday morning to book a room for a few hours while a family member had a medical procedure. They confirmed on the phone that they kept a room for me.
When I arrived about two and a half hours later, at reception they told me they no longer had rooms available and to find another hotel. There were two people attending and the attitude was totally indifferent. There was no real apology or even the slightest attempt to help, not even calling another hotel nearby.
I understand that problems may arise, but what is unacceptable is the total lack of professionalism and empathy. If they can’t guarantee something they promise over the phone, they should at least try to offer some solution.
