DOMUS SELECTA PALACIO DE MERAS HOTEL AND SPA

I am not usually very active on social media, but I share my experience so that no one else has to go through this. I went the weekend of June 12th with my family (we booked 5 rooms). Although the hotel is clean and nice, the management and respect for guest rest are nonexistent. The problem: The first night there was a graduation until 12:00 AM (which is reasonable). But the second night they held another party/event right below my room. It was 2:00 AM and the noise was still going on. It was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. No one informed us of this when we made the reservation. The hotel's response: We notified the front desk in the early morning and they did nothing. The next morning, having to drive 500 km back home without having slept (which poses a serious danger), we requested to speak with management. No one showed up. Fifteen days ago we sent them a formal email and we haven't even received an apology. I find it to be an absolute lack of respect. One goes to a hotel to rest; if I want to party, I look for a different type of accommodation. I hope this serves as a warning to future travelers.

I want to congratulate Palacio de Meras on the great initiative of the hostel for preregrines, the best in the primitive road. It was a luxury serv there, all new, clean, organized. What a great initiative and generosity. I also really liked the decoration "historical and cultural" For me a 10

The location is so unique. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room was large and so comfortable. Truly felt home away from home. The staff are super friendly and the food superb. Loved this place and will definitely will return to discover more of this hidden gem.
