Hotel Las Murallas

Good hotel near the walls. Great reception where besides receiving you give you lots of information about what to do and where to get around in Avila. The room good size and quiet when facing the back. I just missed some toiletries, the shampoo machine wasn't working and there was only soap in the sink.

We only stayed a night on our way north. The hotel was easy to find, check in was quick and welcoming. The room was small but that was fine - all we wanted was a clean room, comfortable bed and decent shower, we got exactly that. The underground car park is very tight - I’d recommend reversing in for an easier exit. Would happily stay again as it was excellent value.

Friendly service, basic rooms. The entrance to the garage is from the avenue down below, and an elevator takes you up to the reception area. Do not drive to the hotel itself, but stay below, Avenida Madrid. The restaurant was nice, with a pleasant terrace, great for people watching.
