Some of the prettiest rooms I have seen in my extensive travels around the world for tens of years. Furniture are antiques, real or very good copies. The rooms at least on the ground floor are very sizeable with big splendid bathrooms very well equipped with separate shower and bath tub. And decor of the bathroom is even more stunning than the bedroom! Impeccably clean. I stayed last year at the local parador in their very best room but apart from a stunning ceiling, all the rest had a problem and was in bad condition. One more proof that private management is always superior to public management because the paradores are all run by the Spanish state. Even the Wi-Fi worked great. The breakfast is served either in a nice dining room or in a courtyard with a pretty garden. A couple of minus things could be improved to make the stay perfect: better lighting in the bathroom because it’s very difficult to shave properly! And also the quality of the tissues needs to be improved. For breakfast which of course cannot match a large hotel, I would definitely change the supplier of bread and croissants which reminds you more of a two star hotel than the five stars this one should have for all the rest. Also, unsweetened yoghurt would be a plus. In any case I’ve already decided to come back next year and not for one night but for a few nights! And the jackpot is that the rates are extremely reasonable. Congratulations to the owner and manager.

It is very noticeable when a person enjoys their work and, above all, when they treat customers with care and authentic professionalism. He made us feel very comfortable and was looking out for us at all times. Without a doubt, people like that make the experience at a hotel even more special. For the past few years, we have developed the habit of stopping to spend the night in places off the normal roads or highways. And so far, that decision has been a success. This time, on our way to Cádiz, we had to stay overnight in Zafra, in this beautiful hotel located in the square where the town hall is. The price with breakfast included was 80 euros, in an attic room, which must have previously been the service rooms of the palace. Good and large room, but very bland in its decoration. A bit of color on some of its walls would improve it significantly. The breakfast was good and more than sufficient, in a beautiful dining room but with the option to have it in the gardens. It was already hot, and it was better inside. Ah! I do not understand the idea of not being able to go up and down the stairs on foot. It seems that the clients in the noble area must be "very noble." Ah! And one thing that is not very pretty, precisely. In one of the hotel photos, two vehicles can be seen parked in front; they are two spaces for the hotel, for loading and unloading, and one disability space. There, one could not leave more than the necessary time for it. Well, the black vehicle was parked when we arrived and remained parked when we left. Could it belong to someone from the hotel?...
