Catalonia Born Hotel

Boutique hotel . Great location with terrific staff . We were welcomed 4 hrs early on our arrival, storing our luggage safely without a problem until our room was ready at 2 pm , Claudia and Maria were really nice and offered any assistance they could . Rooms are spotless with mini bar and essentials for showering . Roof top pool and seating with bar service from the app, and delivery was promt. €7 in a taxi from here to main centre ( parc de Catalonia ( hard rock , Zara,) 4 trip to Barcelona and this was our favourite, will definitely return and would recommend to anyone. Cafes and bars close by

Welcoming and kindness of the reception staff, breakfast staff, or housekeeping staff. The plus is the pool and solarium on the roof. The hotel is well located.

We stayed at the Catalonia Bourne in Barcelona for three nights June 2026. Our room is like a sweat box despite us asking on separate occasions if they could fix the air-conditioning they have done nothing at night it’s 27° we were advised to turn the Aircon unit downto 10 and that that would give it the needed. It has not worked. It’s still 27° and they are not interested in doing a thing about it the breakfast is equally nothing towrite Home about and apparently despite it being so hot in our room we are not allowed to sit by the pool after 9 pm and a cup of tea where it’s nice and cold.
