Catalonia Catedral

My recent stay at the Catalonia Catedral Hotel in Barcelona was excellent from start to finish. I stayed in Suite 502, which was fantastic—spacious, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The suite exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful place to return to after exploring the city. I would like to give special recognition to Marc on the front desk. He kindly arranged an early check-in for me and was exceptionally efficient, professional, and friendly throughout the process. His warm welcome set the tone for what proved to be a very enjoyable stay. I would also like to thank David, who escorted me and my luggage to the suite. He took the time to provide a thorough introduction to the room and all of its amenities, ensuring I was completely settled in and familiar with everything the suite had to offer. In an age where service can often feel rushed and impersonal, it was genuinely refreshing to encounter staff who took the time to provide such attentive and thoughtful hospitality. Marc and David are excellent ambassadors for the hotel and contributed greatly to making my stay memorable. I would not hesitate to stay at the Catalonia Catedral Hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

My husband and I traveled with our two children, ages 7 and 10, and this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and best of all...PERFECTLY located. During our stay, we only needed to take a taxi/Uber three times; everything else was within walking distance. The hotel is situated in a safe area just around the corner from the Cathedral of Barcelona and a short walk from Las Ramblas. The surrounding streets and charming alleyways are filled with shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it a wonderful area to explore as a family. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We chose not to include breakfast with our reservation, and that worked out perfectly given the abundance of excellent coffee shops and bakeries nearby. The room was very large with comfortable beds. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to families traveling with children and would happily stay here again.
