Serhs Hotel Rivoli Rambla

The room is great - the “suite wish”. Lots of space, exceptional and large terrace, and tasteful furnishings. The hotel staff is excellent. What ruined things is that the room reeks of sewer gas. While searching reviews during our stay, this is seemingly common. But unlike the other reviewers, I can say for certain that this smell is coming from the heating/cooling system and not the bathroom. In fact, the bathroom smells the best. And it is hot outside so the tradeoff is sweltering in heat or dealing with the smell. I hope my wife and I wake up tomorrow (she can’t stand it being hot). This was very unfortunate. As the room and hotel is otherwise great.
