BARCELONA HOUSE

I booked a stay at this hotel for myself and my 2.5-year-old child through Booking.com. To our surprise, the room only had a 1.40m wide bed (double/full size). This is completely insufficient and unsafe for a toddler, posing a very real risk of falling out of bed during the night. However, the worst part was not the room setup, but the management's attitude. We contacted the staff immediately to find a solution—asking for a crib, an extra bed, or a room change. Regrettably, the hotel refused to do anything to help. They showed a complete lack of empathy, negligence, and total disregard for a child's safety.I highly discourage families from staying here. The customer service is non-existent, and the management is incapable of handling basic issues. A terrible experience that completely ruined our stay.

The location is excellent in the final part of the Rambla, near the sea, metro stops, and in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Quiet on average, however, the room was sufficiently large and clean. The only drawback was breakfast, although it was sufficient and varied enough, the room was too small to hold everyone at the same time, some mornings it was difficult to find a seat.

Beware your taxi cannot drop you to the door. All roads around it are closed. We had to lug 4 suitcases and walk. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is good. On Sunday the breakfast area had no place to sit. I got my plate with croissants out and sat in the waiting area - 1 of the employees was very rude told me i can’t eat outside the breakfast area. I explained to her there is no free table inside. She still insisted I go in. 1 gentleman was kind enough to share his table with me. But I felt this was not good customer service
